PLYMOUTH FIFE AND DRUM
CHARLESTOWN NAVY YARD, Mass. – Michigan’s Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps performs American Revolution-era music in front of USS Constitution on July 18, 2007. Formed in 1971, the corps is made up of 12 – 18-year-old volunteers, who perform 40 – 50 times annually throughout the United States and Canada. At 209 years old, USS Constitution is the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world, manned by 64 active duty U.S. Navy Sailors, and visited by nearly half a million tourists annually.
